I'm new to the game compared to most of you... so I'm not really up on my history.
Can anyone explain: why does everyone hate Band of Brothers?
I've been reading and reading and reading through the threads lately. Band of brothers seems to have no friends, yet they stand strong. Every alliance does war with other alliances, and yet no alliances seem to hate each other as much as everyone hates the Band of Brothers.
Why?

That's the thing that I really don't get though. EVERYONE sucks up to someone, unless they ARE that someone. People suck up to everyone of the large alliances - and it doesn't even seem that BOB is the biggest, they're just good at what they do - and they're not alone or anything like that.
So there's all this hating and finger pointing going on, but at the end of the day, the finger pointers should be pointing their fingers right back at themselves.

The "poltics" of the "Eve-verse" are intensely interesting... and w.r.t. the guy that mentioned Diplomacy earlier - yeah! The empire building aspect of this game makes me think of Diplomacy!

THIS is what I'm talking about.
This person has no reason whatsoever to believe that I have anything to do with the Band of brothers. But - in order to bolster her sense of self superiority, she must make up some sort of conspiracy theory.
Exactly like pathetic conspiracy theorists in real life, anyway.
It is people like this who make me think that the Band of Brothers aren't the ones that are *******s - everyone else is simply jealous and too pathetic to do anything about it besides whine and cry.

Well, I would expect people to think that I am a very big "Weebl and Bob" fan. Aside from that, I don't really care what people think.
I do, however, take note of the fact that most of the folks who have taken their time to constructively reply to my humble thread are members of the Band of brothers.
Thank you - for helping a noob understand what he is getting into when he stops carebearing and starts PVPing.

EDIT: After reading most of the history posted on Reikoku's forums, I have to conclude: People "hate" the Band of Brothers because they lost.
